Wineglass Bay Cruises

Cruise to one of Australia's most famous bays with Wineglass Bay Cruises. Taking you to Wineglass Bay via Schouten Passage, cruise in style in either the Vista Lounge or the Sky Lounge. Lunch is included. Duration is 4.5 hours.

Freycinet Walking Tour

Discover the park’s dramatic pink granite peaks, jewel-coloured waters, pure white sands, inspiring vegetation and abundant wildlife. Immerse yourself in Freycinet National Park with on a small group, half-day guided walk with an experienced local.

Departs: 8:00am- 1:30pm (5.5 hours) Bookings required.

Awaken your sense of adventure on an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) fully guided tour. Freycinet Marine Farm Taste Experience

Step into a pair of waders and walk out into the crisp waters of Freycinet Marine Farm. Tours start at $95 per person and include a 2 hour return trip of the oyster farm, wader hire, a shucking lesson, 6 natural pacific oysters with matching dressings, half a bowl of steamed mussels and a glass of delicious Freycinet Vineyard Riesling.

The Freycinet Peninsula is one of Tasmania's most popular destinations, for tourists and locals alike. We always recommend booking activities in advance, to avoid disappointment and to give you the best possible chance of securing your preferred tour.

Yes, it is. If you plan ahead, there are a number of tours that can be enjoyed alongside each other in a day on the Freycinet Peninsula. That said, you should leave some time for relaxing too!

You can enter Wineglass Bay on a Wineglass Bay Cruise or fly over it with Freycinet Air. The only other way to reach Wineglass is to walk. The walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout from the access car park is approximately 1.5 hours return, and to Wineglass Bay beach is approximately 3 hours return.

Any tours with a marine component are naturally subject to weather conditions, however the waters around Coles Bay are sheltered from the open ocean and the conditions are often surprisingly calm. Having an extra day available in your itinerary can be useful in case you need to reschedule any activities.

All overnight visitors to Freycinet Lodge are required to have a National Park entry pass. This can be purchased on arrival at Freycinet Lodge, with two options available: 24 hour or 8 week holiday passes.
